Capstone Report

For this project, I worked with a 1st grade teacher with a group of rising 1st grade students in summer school. This project gave me the chance to problem solve and find opportunities in the classroom to incorporate UDL and instructional technology. I revised a kindergarten/rising 1st grade ELA lesson. I added in 2 digital tools, revised the lesson using Gagne’s 9 Events of Instruction, and incorporated places for UDL. Overall, my recommendations make the lesson stronger and more effective.
