Empowering Digital Citizens: 

Cultivating Ethics and Safety in Student Digital Learning

This guideline is intended for high school students, grades 9-12.Designed for: Bilingual classrooms, both in-person and remote learning.
Context: This lab is designed for students in a bilingual setting (English and Spanish). It aims to reinforce skills in digital citizenship, raise awareness about digital footprints, promote online privacy practices, and cultivate personal responsibility in applying computer and digital ethics. The guidelines will be presented and discussed in class, then displayed digitally on Google Classroom and physically on the classroom wall for ongoing reference. Each recommendation includes reflective expressions to help students develop critical thinking skills in both languages.
