Summary:
For my Capstone project, I decided to interview Sheron Kelawan, a Special Education teacher of the K-1 self-contained class. We both teach in PS 203 in Brooklyn. We are both part of the CS4All team in my school and have worked collaboratively when implementing the CS4All curriculum throughout our building. We discussed the challenges in her class when implementing the ScratchJr lessons to her students. We identified barriers the student’s faced. In my report you will read my analysis and strategies we can implement to combat some of these challenges and barriers while using the UDL framework as a guide.
