Summary

The Common Sense digital safety curriculum equips students with the knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities to navigate the digital landscape safely, responsibly, and ethically. It covers a wide range of digital safety topics that is adaptable to multiple grade levels and includes online privacy, cyberbullying, digital citizenship, information literacy, media balance, digital footprint, and responsible social media use. I interviewed and worked with the school counselor who is responsible for ensuring that the DOE regulations for teaching a digital safety curriculum is met. I revised the lesson to meet the needs of the diverse population in our school.
